I work as an administrator at a small liberal arts college in New York, but when I am not working I am usually daydreaming about backpacking, travel, seasonal employment, self employment, and other things that some people would generally refer to as “jumping off the bandwagon.” I’ve decided to put my thoughts together and test out the blogging world so that some day, if and when I actually do make the leap to less gainful employment, I can chronicle those adventures. In the meantime, I’ll try to fill up these pages with some smaller-scale adventures as well as my thoughts on culture, science, technology, politics and education.
